Public Safety Photos - Lexington County EMS

I spent last week up in Lexington photographing the annual update for Lexington County EMS.  This is something we do every year, to keep them up to date.  I will be changing out pictures in a custom frame that we built to showcase each employee in their respective positions on their shift.  This frame is about 54" tall, and 60" wide.

This is a sample of the update we made last year.  This year we will be reorganizing, as Lexington has made some changes in their structure.  We have redesigned a mat to fit the new structure which will fit in the existing frame.

A new addition to our services this year is the design and printing of albums and books.  I made a sample album from last year's photo update with Lexington.

This book has been made available for order.  This year we plan to collaborate with Lexington to make a complete book that represents all that they do.  I look forward to working on this project to see what we can create!

During this year's photo update we had a very busy week!  We photographed all four shifts of employees, and administration, in two days.  That's about 125 people!

For this project, I use a portable studio set-up.  Lexington likes the grey background.  I use a simple 3 light strobe set-up, fired remotely by pocket wizard transceivers.

This makes for a nice, evenly lit headshot that keeps consistent results for each person.  This studio is able to be set up in a short amount of time, in almost any location!  This shot above was taken in the bay of Lexington County's Operations Center, a convenient location to get all of the employees photos.

Thanks to Lexington EMS for their cooperation on this project!  I'll post finished pictures of the new frame once it is finished!

In the midst of the hectic schedule we kept last week, I was able to sit down and catch a quick self portrait with a remote to show what this lighting looks like!  :)
